3/12/2012 “A LEARNING WEEK”
Dear
Family
Well,
our week went “OK”. It’s like this in the mish. At veces(times) we have the
best week ever and then after that we have the desafios (challenges). But, I
think the Señor does that to one, make us more humble and then two, to help us
grow. But sometimes as misioneros(missionaries) we make the work a little
harder than it has to be. Like this week we had a ton of divisions. Its where
we work with other misioneros(missionaries) that aren’t our comps. It helps me
a lot because sometimes it can get a little boring with the same person everyday
especially if that’s the person you do not get along with well....but our
relationship is getting better. I kind
of took control of that situacion(situation). It’s because he thinks he knows
everything aun que(even though) he doesn’t have a ton of time in the mission
field.. Yes, we need to be confidente(confident)In what we are doing, but
nooooo we don’t need to brag about everything every 5 seconds. He’s a bragger.
But he’ll learn some humility in the mission field here in Mexico.
The
week was kind of hard, we invited a bunch of people, but nobody came. A family
in the barrio(neighborhood) took their sobrinos(nephews) to church and the
sobrinos(nephews) want to get bautizado (baptized). So that’s awesome news. We couldn’t
confirm the people who we just bautizado(baptized), because they all got sick
so, they couldn’t come. But, they said they were going to come next week. So,
we will have that going on next week. I
have learned a lot about myself this week. I have learned that we are “actually
teaching people” not only about the lessons. That’s one thing and it is important but, to really show these
people that we really care about them as a person.. Like asking how they are
and really love and concern yourself for them, Also like ask them questions and
help them out with whatever. It truly makes a huge difference.( I knew that but,
I think I am just remembering it or learning it better.) I have to go now. Keep
praying and having fe(faith) with everything you do. I know that everything
will work out like it’s supposed to for those kiddos. Hope you like the pics.
It was raining but then it stopped and this is what we saw…
